Squidgie's Super Slick Rigs:
04/10/07: - Few soft plastics have helped anglers make the transition from bait to lure fishing as easy as the Squidgy Slick Rig range. These internally weighted lures come ready to fish straight from the packet, but the most significant feature about them is that the jig heads are completely re-useable................. [More] |

Bushy's Stiffy Minnow:
04/05/07: - You've got to hand it to the Bushman, he's not one to sit on his hands when it comes to fishing, and lure fishing in particular.
The moustachioed one has been busy in the back shed again, working away on yet another lure design, and the result is the Stiffy Minnow. Designed for the Bream market, this 60 millimetre long mid-depth plug comes in eight colours, is equipped with top-notch size ten Owner hooks and split rings, a welded wire frame (not just screw-in eyelets), and already has a number of Bream tournament wins to its credit............. Bushy's
Stiffy Wins Best New Lure
21/08/06: - Bushy's Stiffy Fizzer
was recently judged Best New Lure at the Australian Fishing
Tackle Association's annual conference on the Gold Coast.
A floating stick bait style lure, the Stiffy Fizzer was developed with
big impoundment barramundi in mind, but don't be afraid to give it a
swim wherever big fish are looking up, just waiting for their prey to
come splashing across the water's surface..............[More] |

| New
Squidgy Slick Rigs.
10/11/05: -
Anglers in the midst of a hot bite or those new to
soft plastics are prone to putting replacement tails
on crooked, and this can deter fussy fish from striking.

SFS
Squidgy Spinnerbait Rod.
10/12/04: New for the 2004/2005
season is the Steve Starling Squidgy Spinnerbait rod. Another great
addition to the superlative Steve Starling Sportfishing Series,
this rod has been designed by Steve and ‘The Australian Rod Builder',
Ian Miller
As the name suggests, the SFS Spinnerbait rod has
been specifically designed for the use with small Squidgy Spinnerbaits
from 4-21 grams and 2-5 kilo lines, but it works just as well with
reaction baits, lipless crankbaits or any fishing application where
a slightly longer rod is an advantage. |

Squidgy
Bluewater Garfish.
Whether used whole or as a cut bait, there's hardly a saltwater
fish swimming that doesn't like eating garfish, but it's the game
species like kingfish, mahi mahi, the various tunas, marlin and
sailfish that really take a shine to them.
Developed by Kaj 'Bushy' Busch, Bluewater Garfish
are available in pearl blue and green, are realistically soft, yet
at the same time tough enough to survive multiple strikes without
falling apart - unlike real gars. Bluewater Garfish are held together
by a reflective beaded flexi-skeleton rigged on a 250-pound Dacron
loop. |

Shimano
Squidgies.
Steve Starling and Kaj 'Bushy' Busch are two of Australia's best
known and most respected anglers, especially in the field of soft
plastic lure fishing. For the past two years, this pair have been
working on a major project to design, refine and thoroughly field
test an exclusive range of soft plastic lures and accessories for
the Blue Fox company; part of the giant Rapala/VMC organisation. |

Squidgy
Bugs.
Bass and bream spend a lot of their time lying deep in the snags
looking upwards and watching for terrestrial animals that
have fallen in the water, or prawns that might be quietly trying
to get from Point A to Point B without being eaten. The new Squidgy
Bug is designed to emulate these critters and has added a whole
new dimension to Squidgy fishing in Australia. |

Squidgy
Spinnerbaits
With a specific goal and mind and working to a calculated formula,
Ian Miller's Squidgy Spinnerbaits have been developed as a totally
new concept lure for Australia's native sportfish. These lures are
available now from Shimano tackle stockists, in four sizes and six
colour combinations. |

Secrets 2
'Squidgy Secrets II: Beyond The Basics' takes a more detailed look
at how to rig, present and, most importantly, where to fish Squidgies
anywhere from the tropical bluewater to the fresh. Presented by
those affable Squidgy heads, Starlo and Bushy, the action takes
place on the wild west coast of Cape York, the NT's Corroboree Billabong,
and south east Queensland's Lake Somerset and Lenthalls Dam.
Along the way, a succession of barra, saratoga,
tarpon, trevally, mackerel, queenfish and bass fall to these deadly
soft plastics' charms. The boys are also joined by guest presenter,
Ian 'Barra' Miller, who demonstrates how to fish his new Squidgy
Spinnerbaits on a variety of species. |
