STRONGER THAN STEEL – LIGHTER THAN PLASTIC

Gatorz frames are milled from the high grade T6 7075 aircraft aluminium. T6 indicates the hardness of the aluminium. T6 is the same grade the USA Government uses in military aircraft. For the wearer, this means fewer scratches and less gouges and nicks. The 7075 refers to the pliability or strength of the aluminium. For the wearer, this means that you are able to apply pressure to mold the frames to fit your face shape and they will hold this shape. Frames are finished with either a brushed or polished surface. Colours are anodized to the brushed texture frames.

SUPERIOR LENSES ARE A GATORZ FEATURE

Gatorz Eyewear's G15 Polycarbonate lenses are completely distortion-free and block 100% of all UV radiation. Polycarbonate lenses are much lighter than glass lenses – and this can make a noticeable difference when spending a day on the water. Gatorz actually work to help keep you cool by distributing the heat away from the body. The properties of the aluminium naturally cool the lens to prevent fogging, making it unnecessary to apply special coating for this purpose.

SAFETY

The lenses are tension mounted not screw mounted. Gatorz holds the patent on this revolutionary method of mounting, that we have proven keeps the lens more stable within the frame than any other method. In the event of something hitting the eyewear, the lens will not pop out – rather the lens is tension mounted in a way that it will be held even tighter in place in this situation.
