Glenbawn Dam, Scone/Aberdeen -

Access: Excellent, all weather, two lane, concrete ramp. Good launching from the banks if water level rising or stable.

Facilities: Kiosk sells e'thing cept beer, electric BBQ's (free), hot showers (free), camping and cabins (not free)

Parking: Excellent parking and camping around the foreshores of the dam, 20 or 30 spaces near ramp and up hill towards kiosk

Fees: $6.60 per car day access, $6.60 per head camping fee (free access for 1 car). Cabin Prices avail from office.

Lake Keepit State Park- between Tamworth and Gunnedah.

Access: Through office and past kiosk. Ramp is concrete and good right down to low levels (24% in pictures).Single lane.

Facilities: Kiosk, BBq's, caravan park, tennis, golf course ect,ect. Beer, and bait can be bought from the kiosk.

Parking: Fairly good , as most people launch from the banks around the dam.

Fees: $6.60 per vehicle per day, camping fees around the $14 mark, cabins ect rates from office.

Split Rock Dam, N/W NSW. -

Access: Sealed road all the way to ramp, 15 mins out of Mannilla.

Facilities: Extremely limited, 1 shower/toilet block a kilometre from the ramp. No firewood or BBQ's ect.

Parking: Room for 20 or so rigs near ramp and unlimited parking on foreshore.

Fees: Honesty box, $2.00 entry.

Copeton Dam, between Inverell and Bingara, N/W NSW. -

Access: Good with sealed roads all the way to top of ramp. Ramp itself is only hard packed granite sand, so care should be taken during heavy rain or falling water levels. Also good bank launching all the way round the dam, but same care should be taken

Facilities: Good, with showers, BBQ's ect scattered round dam. Great facilities for kids, Golf Course, Giant water slide ect.

Parking: Anywhere you like. Unlimited.

Fees: $7.00 p/p a day camping, cabins and c'vans available on request.
